How To Become A Copy Kate
From her first foray into the public spotlight to providing the latest look that everyone wants to copy, the Duchess of Cambridge has made very few fashion faux pas’. Here is how you can copy her style this season.
Kate Middleton is renowned for her conservative, yet young style, often favouring British designers such as Temperley, Jenny Packham and Amanda Wakeley. Eschewing the need for a stylist Kate is spot on with her looks and is very confident in knowing what she likes. She always looks good whether dressed up in a floor length gown or dressed down in jeans and wellies.
This season, you can’t go wrong with a classic wool coat, try fastening it with a statement belt like Kate, to keep the look fresh and up to date and compliment the look with contemporary accessories. As far as footwear goes Kate’s shoes have drawn a lot of attention too; throughout 2012 it was assumed that she actually only owned one pair of shoes. Her love for her pair of Nude Sledge Pumps was captured on camera on a number of occasions and seem to be her safe bet to go with most outfits.
However, she has also been spotted in a pair of Navy Stuart Weitzman wedges and a pair of Weitzmen knee high suede boots. She knows what works and what she is comfortable wearing and at 5’10 it is good to see that Kate never shys away from a heel. So keep it high street and simple with knee high suede boots and simple pumps or wedges to keep your look pretty and not too try hard.
The simple rule is to keep it simple. For true princess style remember not to be too daring, if you can’t afford the designer price tag, don’t worry there are many dresses around this season that imitate her style from pretty skater dresses to peplum shifts.
